Invoice faster. Get paid on time.

MetroPay helps service businesses create branded invoices, accept online payments, automate payment reminders, and keep every outstanding balance in view.

Every workspace starts free. No card on file. Nobody is charged without choosing a plan.

What you get

Three things MetroPay does for you

Everything on this site comes back to these three. Each one works on its own, and together they take an invoice from draft to paid.

  • Create invoices

Pick a customer, add the lines, choose a template and send. Your customer gets a link that opens without an account.

  • Collect payment

Card payments go through your own Stripe or SSLCommerz account, and your bank transfer details sit on the same page. MetroPay never holds the money.

  • Follow up automatically

Set a reminder cadence once. Reminders stay off until an owner turns them on, and every one that goes out is logged against the invoice.

Off until you turn it on

Getting started

Four steps to your first payment

The same four steps your workspace walks you through on day one. None of them needs a card, an import or a call with us.

  1. Add your first customer

Someone to bill. A name and an email address is enough; the rest can wait.

  2. Save an item or service

A price you reuse, so invoice lines take one click instead of retyping.

  3. Send your first invoice

MetroPay emails it and gives your customer a link to pay. You see it in your list the moment it goes out.

  4. Record the first payment

Then the dashboard becomes your cash view: what you are owed, and how late it is.

Features

Everything you need to bill and get paid

Every feature in one workspace. Anything optional or off by default is labelled here, so nothing surprises you later.

  • Online invoicing

Create a branded invoice, email it with a payment link, and see at a glance whether it is draft, sent, paid or overdue.

  • Estimates

Quote the work, let the customer accept online, and turn the approved estimate into an invoice. An optional module you switch on per workspace.

    Optional module
  • Online payments

Customers pay by card or mobile wallet on the invoice page, through your own Stripe or SSLCommerz account. MetroPay never holds the money.

  • Payment links

A shareable link for a deposit, a retainer or any amount, with an optional expiry date, without writing a full invoice.

  • Recurring invoices

Bill retainers and repeat work on a schedule. Each period arrives as a draft you review; sending automatically is off until you turn it on.

  • Payment reminders

Polite follow-ups before and after the due date, with a record of every reminder sent. Off until an owner turns them on.

  • Invoice templates

Seven PDF templates, your logo and letterhead, your own numbering, and custom fields, so every document looks like yours.

  • Customer pages

Every invoice, estimate and payment link has its own page: view it, download the PDF, pay online, or report a bank transfer. A link, not a login.

  • Reporting

Receivables aging, sales by customer, sales by item, and payments received. What you are owed, and who owes it.

  • Team permissions

Owner, Admin, Accountant and Staff roles keep money actions with the people who should have them.

Create

An invoice in one screen

Saved customers and items fill the lines for you. Tax, discount and totals update as you type, and the same invoice becomes the PDF, the email and the public page.

  • Seven PDF templates, with your logo and your colours
  • Eleven currencies, with amounts and dates formatted for your locale
  • Custom fields on customers, invoices and items

Collect

A payment page that asks for nothing but payment

Every invoice has a public page your customer can open from the email. They pay in full or in part by card, or follow your bank transfer details and tell you when the money is on its way.

  • Card payments through your own Stripe or SSLCommerz account
  • Partial payments, with a minimum you set for your workspace
  • Payment claims with a receipt upload, confirmed by you before they count

Follow up

Every outstanding balance, in view

The dashboard shows what you are owed and how late it is. Receivables aging, sales by customer, sales by item and payments received answer the questions an accountant asks.

  • Four reports, built on stored amounts that are never re-converted
  • Statements per customer, with unused credit in view
  • Reminders that stay off until an owner turns them on

Branding

Branded invoices on your own domain

Your invoices carry your logo, your wordmark and your colours on every template and every email. If you want the public invoice and payment pages on your own subdomain, add the hostname in Settings, publish the two DNS records shown there, and verify. It is opt-in per workspace.

  • Logo and wordmark on PDFs, emails and public pages
  • A custom domain for public pages, with the certificate issued and renewed for you
  • Six editable email templates, so the message around the invoice sounds like you

Team

Team access and reporting

Four roles decide who can do what. Staff can create, edit and send invoices but cannot record payments, apply credit, void, write off or change settings. Owners and admins hold every setting; accountants can see them all and record the money.

  • Owner, Admin, Accountant and Staff, with the boundaries shown in the table
  • Invitations by email, with a shareable accept link for owners and admins
  • Every member sees the same dashboard figures and the same four reports

Why MetroPay

Built for service businesses

For agencies, consultants, photographers, contractors and freelancers who bill for their time and work, and would rather not spend the evening on paperwork.

  • One workspace, not a stack of tools

Customers, invoices, payments, reminders and reports live in one place, so nothing has to be copied between apps.

  • Honest defaults

Nothing sends itself until an owner turns it on. Recurring periods arrive as a draft for you to check first.

  • Your money stays yours

Payments settle in the Stripe or SSLCommerz account you connect. MetroPay never holds, routes or delays them.

  • A link, not a login

Your customers open, pay and download from a link. There is no account for them to create or password to forget.

Trust

Three facts about your data and your money

What is in place today, stated plainly. The security page lists everything else, including what we do not claim.

  • Your own payment account

Card payments settle in the Stripe or SSLCommerz account you connect, under your name and your agreement with the provider.

  • Two-factor and passkeys

Protect sign-in with an authenticator app or a passkey, and confirm your password again before sensitive settings change.

  • Per-workspace isolation

Every workspace is kept apart from every other. A member of one cannot reach the invoices, customers or settings of another.
