Product

One workspace from first estimate to final payment

Add a customer, quote the work if you need to, invoice it, share a payment link, record the payment and let the follow-up run. Every step lives in the same workspace, and every step is visible to your whole team.

The workflow

From first contact to final payment

One record leads to the next, so nothing is retyped and nothing is lost between steps.

  1. Customer

Add the business you bill, with its contacts, currency and payment terms.

  2. Estimate

Quote the work and let the customer accept online. An optional module you switch on per workspace.

  3. Invoice

Turn the accepted estimate into an invoice, or start from scratch, and send it by email with a payment link.

  4. Payment link

Collect a deposit or any amount with a shareable link, with an optional expiry date.

  5. Payment

Card and mobile payments settle in your own Stripe or SSLCommerz account; bank transfers are recorded when they arrive.

  6. Follow-up and reporting

Receipts go out, reminders chase what is late once you turn them on, and four reports show what you are owed.

Estimates are an optional module, switched on per workspace in Settings. A workspace that only invoices skips that step and loses nothing.

Features

Every feature, labelled honestly

A card marked optional or off by default describes a choice you make in Settings, not a limit on your workspace.

  • Online invoicing

Create a branded invoice, email it with a payment link, and see at a glance whether it is draft, sent, paid or overdue.

  • Estimates

Quote the work, let the customer accept online, and turn the approved estimate into an invoice. An optional module you switch on per workspace.

    Optional module
  • Online payments

Customers pay by card or mobile wallet on the invoice page, through your own Stripe or SSLCommerz account. MetroPay never holds the money.

  • Payment links

A shareable link for a deposit, a retainer or any amount, with an optional expiry date, without writing a full invoice.

  • Recurring invoices

Bill retainers and repeat work on a schedule. Each period arrives as a draft you review; sending automatically is off until you turn it on.

Off until you turn it on
  • Payment reminders

Polite follow-ups before and after the due date, with a record of every reminder sent. Off until an owner turns them on.

Off until you turn it on
  • Invoice templates

Seven PDF templates, your logo and letterhead, your own numbering, and custom fields, so every document looks like yours.

  • Customer pages

Every invoice, estimate and payment link has its own page: view it, download the PDF, pay online, or report a bank transfer. A link, not a login.

  • Reporting

Receivables aging, sales by customer, sales by item, and payments received. What you are owed, and who owes it.

  • Team permissions

Owner, Admin, Accountant and Staff roles keep money actions with the people who should have them.

Invoices

Every invoice, one status, no guessing

Draft, sent, partially paid, paid, void or written off, with overdue worked out from the due date. The list shows which is which, when the customer last opened the page, and what is still owed.

  • Overdue is derived from the due date, never set by hand
  • Void and write-off keep the number and leave the history visible
  • Duplicate any invoice to start the next one from it

Customers

Customers with their balance and credit in view

Each customer carries their contacts, payment terms, currency, allowed payment methods and default discount, so an invoice for them is right the first time.

  • Outstanding balance and unused credit on every row
  • Statements per currency, on screen and as a PDF
  • Saved segments that group customers by rules, with a live preview of who matches
